Wow, I almost forgot about this blog. Alot has changed ever since I last posted. Kim Jong-Il passed away a couple days ago. Thought I’d never live to see this day. Reunification for Korea? I highly doubt it, but it’s always my dream. We can hope, right?

Anyways, I quit my previous job in September. God, that place was hell. It was disorganized, unprofessional, immature and like High School. Anyways, I started my new job on 10/10/11. And it’s awesome. I love it alot! I love the people, the company, the order, the work, the benefits, and everything about it.

My band is going great. We’ve had plentiful lives the past year.. and 2012 is gonna get busy!!! Also an overseas tour. Hopefully I can save up enough by then. I’ve been writing alot of covers. I’ll post them when I finish my entry.

It’s different being out of college. There’s no more worries about… “Oh shit, I gotta cram for that exam on Monday!!!” or… “Damn!! I don’t have enough credits to graduate!!” Now I just worry about…….. “Oh, what should I wear to work? I wore those slacks yesterday…. Hmmm…. ” or…. “Ughhhhhhh…… traffic at THIS hour!?!?! What is the quickest way to get home?!” or…. “Damn.. I forgot my lunch.. should I eat at the cafe or go around the corner and pick up Chick-Fil-A…?” Meaningless, insignificant stuff like that. Hehe. Well, life is great! I’m glad to be alive.

It’s August already. My new job… is not what I expected. But I’m gonna have to deal with it. Until I pay off my student loans that is. I have a rehearsal with a band tomorrow… we’ll see how that goes. Lately I’ve just been so exhausted after work… my work schedule is 10am-7pm. I just push myself onward and look forward to little happiness-es in my life .

I’ve been listening to Blonde Redhead and Asobi Seksu ALOT lately. Ever since I saw Asobi Seksu live in Late May.. their CD’s have been on constant repeat.

BTW, here’s me & Yuki at the live. (Yuki is the singer of Asobi Seksu.) She’s so sweet and awesome!

And I have many fave songs from their latest album… Here is ‘Trails’.. they did that for their intro (On May 24th’s live) and it was incredibly mind-blowing. Her voice is SO powerful and has so much range!!

Anyways.. I eat my words… regarding my previous posts. I FINALLY got a job… HOW? Cause I had a college degree. This company automatically hires people with college degrees… even if they have no experience whatsoever. The pay is REALLY good… I’ve never gotten paid THAT much before… and training begins July 1st for 4 weeks. I also get FULL benefits, so now I can finally have health insurance! I haven’t had health insurance since my parents divorced (when I was in my teens) so everytime I had a injury and etc, I couldn’t get it checked. So now I can finally fix myself, fix my car, fix my phone and fix my life. I was so excited when they called me with the job offer! Like jumping up and down excited. I’m so glad that’s out of the way… I’ve been completely bummed out the past couple of weeks cause I couldn’t get hired… *whew* Now that’s done.. I can fully concentrate on music and get my career started. I’m excited to see how my future will turn out… Everything is going according to planned.

27 … the turning point…?

I’m turning 27 this Friday… and I’m NOT looking forward to it. At ALL. I always wonder… what the hell did I do when I was 22, 23, 24 and even 25? I don’t even REMEMBER what I did all those years!! Ok… I remember going into the music school at 24… but that’s about it. I had no good memories during that time… Anyways, I really wish time would stop. When we’re younger (in our teens) we ALWAYS anticipate our birthday. Cause we can’t WAIT until we’re 18, or even 21! But I think… once people hit 24… their expectations of getting older goes downhill. Well, for me that is. Well, might as well make the best of it. Time to see ‘This Will Destroy You’ tonight. ^^;;
